Bharatpedia team is organizing an edit-a-thon. The goal of this edit-a-thon is to create India-related articles. The event will start on July 6, 2021 at 23:59 IST and will run for complete 30 days.
It's time to create and expand articles. Go ahead.
Expectations
It is announced that User that adds the most number of words or bytes during this edit-a-thon will be awarded a trophy and prize money of $100
We expect that if you participate in this edit-a-thon, you'll create at least 10 articles. However, you may work on as many articles as you want.
Who can join?
Any registered user with or without autoconfirmed user right can join. If your account is 5 days old and you have made a minimum of 20 edits you can post articles directly to the article namespace, but if you do not have the autoconfirmed user right yet, you can post a page in draft space and submit it for a review using the template {{submit}}

Rules
- For an article to be considered as part of this India Edit-a-thon, it must adhere to the following rules
- Creation rule: If you are creating a new article the new article must have a minimum length of 200 words (the prose count excludes templates, infoboxes, references, etc.)
- The articles should not copyright violation content and should follow verifiability.
- We strongly recommend you create your own content, but if you copy articles from Wikipedia you must add

tag at the end of the article.
- Points that you will earn per article
- Creating a new article: 10
- Copying article from Wikipedia: 5
- Expanding existing article: 3
