Important districts included in this area are Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Sargodha. The main cities located in Jech Doaba are Gujrat, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Mirpure, Bhimber, Barnala, Malkawal, Shahpur, Phalia, Sarai Alamgir and Kharian. Gujrati and Shahpuri are main dialects of the Punjabi language spoken in this area.
