&flix is an English movie channel from Zee Entertainment Enterprises which formally launched on 3 June 2018, replacing Zee Studio.[1]

This is the second English movie channel under the ‘&’ brand. In September 2017, the broadcaster had launched a premium English movie channel &privé HD. The channel telecasts movies in multiple languages - English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Some of the titles telecasted in multiple languages include Bad Boys for life, Bloodshot, Charlie's Angels, Stuart Little, Hollow man, Hotel Transylvania and much more.

History[edit]

Earlier, Zee's English movie channel for the mainstream audience was Zee Studio which was launched in 2005 and discontinued on 31 May 2018.[2] &flix then took over and a soft launch testing was carried out until the first movie premiere of the channel Spider-Man: Homecoming aired on 3 June 2018 by which then the channel started carrying adverts.

The channel premieres a new movie every Sunday, with most of these films coming from Sony Pictures. Others include Paramount, Disney and Lionsgate. The channel is available in both SD and HD resolution.[3]
