Ashish Chanchlani is an Indian Actor, YouTube personality and speaker from Mumbai.[1] He is known for his YouTube comedy channel Ashish Chanchlani Vines which have more than 19 million subscribers.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Ashish is one of the winners of 2019 Cannes Film Festival Awards and Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards.[9]

Early life[edit]

Ashish Chanchlani was born on 8 Dec 1993 in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. He was passionate about acting since his childhood and grew up watching bollywood movies. Ashish done his graduation (B.Tech) in civil Engineering from Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Mumbai. He started making videos on Vine App just for fun and his videos are liked by people.[10]

Career[edit]

Ashish learned acting from Barry John Studio Mumbai. He started his YouTube Channel ashish chanchlani vines on 6 July 2009 and started making videos of 4 to 10 minutes. In January 2019 his channel crossed ten million subscribers.[11][12] And this number was 19 million till June 2020.[13]

In 2017, Ashish debut his first Indian Web Series Class of 2017 by ALTBalaji.[14] In the same year Ashish spoke in a TEDxMITP event Pune.[15]

Ashish Chanchlani's Female Version picture went viral and attracts attention from Celebrities. It got one million likes in a day.[16]

In 2019, Ashish Chanchlani has entered in to the list of top Indian YouTubers with highest Net-worth.[17][18][19]

Ashish Chanchlani's video "Tu mere baap ko jaanta hai?", went viral overnight and his other video "Final Exams", garnered more than 8 million views in less than 24 hours.[20]

Ashish Chanchlani has done collabs with Bollywood stars such as Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and others.[21]

In June 2019, Ashish appeared in Men in Black: International as cameo.[22][23]

In 2020, Joe Russo was interviewed by Ashish Chanchlani during the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame.[24][25][26]

Ashish Chanchlani also interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Karen Gillan, Chris Hemsworth & Tom Holland (actor).[27][28][29]

YouTube Fan Fest[edit]

In March 2019, YouTube organised an event "YouTube Fan Fest" at Jio Garden Mumbai for YouTube personalities such as Lilly Singh, Bhuvan Bam, Ashish Chanchlani, Prajakta Koli and others. This event was much appreciated by the visitors.[31][32]

After the successful Mumbai Edition, YouTube again organised "YouTube Fan Fest" at Delhi in April 2019 where Ashish performed with other YouTube personalities and appreciated by his fan following.[33]

India Web Fest[edit]

In the same year Ashish appeared in India Web Fest, India’s biggest and one of the most entertainment platforms. At the red carpet, Ashish spoke about the future of digital.[34][19]

In July 2020, Ashish supports two states Assam and Bihar which were affected by floods.[43] He also supported for Coronavirus disease 2019 patients by donating in PM CARES Fund.[44][45][46]
