B. N. Chandrappa is a member of the Indian National Congress and former member of Parliament from the Chitradurga (Lok Sabha constituency).[1] He was born on 01 Oct 1955 at Lakkavalli in Chikkamagaluru district. Before getting elected as the MP of the Chitradurga, he has served in various positions such as Chairman, Karnataka State LIDKAR Board & Vice President of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Parishad[2]

B.N.Chandrappa completed M.A.(Sociology) at C.V. Raman University, Karnataka.[3]
