Bigyanpriyo is a Bangladeshi science based educational organization created in 2018 by education entrepreneur Muhammad Shawon Mahmud. The platform is best known for their infographics and videos about scientific breakthroughs.

Muhammad Shawon Mahmud, a graduate student in Physics from Jahangirnagar University in Dhaka, founded the organization in 2018 with the goal of informing the public about scientific achievements.[1] Although initially the entire activity was based online, the organization prepared several public awareness field campaign during the Corona epidemic in 2020 and launched a campaign project called 'Saveteens' in school colleges to ensure the safety of teenagers in the physical, mental and internet world towards the end of 2021.

Campaigns[edit]

  1. In 2019, Bigyanpriyo launched a science writing contest for high school seniors without sponsorship.[2]
  2. In 2021, Bigyanpriyo launched a project named "Saveteens", which runs campaigns at various school colleges to ensure the health protection and emotional stability of teenagers. The first program consisting of 3 schools in Dhaka was successfully completed in the presence of about 1500 students.[3][4]
  3. Also in 2021, BYO hosted a workshop on corona safety with about 300 street children and low-income people, where hand sanitizers and surface disinfectant sprays were distributed to all.[5]
