Indora is near bank of river Beas and a town and tehsil head office under district Kangra, state Himachal Pradesh in the northern part of India. It is surrounded by many farm houses especially of wheat and rice. With orchards of mangoes, guava, oranges and lychee are surrounding it. Indora and Indpur are famous for these fruits all over India.Indora is known for its one of oldest high school in the state FOUNDED by Rai Bahadur MALLAH SINGH in 1916. Citrus plantation was brought in by late Rai bahadur babu Birabal Katoch in mid 1800s.
