Kokapet is an emerging commercial and residential hub in Ranga Reddy District in Telangana, India. This place is known for its luxurious complexes which falls under Kokapet SEZ (Neopolis) and is regarded as one of the most expensive commercial and residential locations in Hyderabad. It falls under Gandipet Mandal.

The Outer Ring Road passes through the village. It is three kilometres away from Gandipet and close to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport; it is almost an extension of Financial District and in the vicinity of the IT hub.[1] As per the records and certification entire Kokapet village belongs to Late Nawab Nusrat Jung and his legal heirs. As the legal heirs of Late Nawab Nusrath jung also fighting case in supreme court.

In a government auction in 2006 which was announced by the Supreme court that it was an illegal auction as the land is going in litigation. The court has also asked the government to return the money to the bidders within 3 calendar months or else the govt must pay them the amount with 9% interest, a five-acre land was bought for 14.45 crores per acre.[2]

Supreme court also sent the legal notices to every once till the final judgement of the case there must be no development/sale/purchase must take place. If, people found doing so they will be taken out of land without further notices.
