Madhavan Ayyappath (Malayalam: മാധവൻ അയ്യപ്പത്ത്; born 24 April 1934) is a poet and translator from the south Indian state of Kerala. He is a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award.[1]
Biography[edit]
Madhavan Ayyappath was born in 1934 in Chowannur near Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district as the son of Peringott Karumathil Ramunni Nair and Ayyappath Lakshmikkutty Amma. He obtained a BA Economics degree from Madras University and did his masters in English literature.[2]
