Mahanavami is a Kannada teleserial which got aired on ETV Kannada. The serial was pictured in North Karnataka local Kannada dialect and it portrayed the lifestyle of Desais and their family women.^[2]^[3] The serial is based on the novel Iddu illada sambhandhagalu by Rekha Kakhandaki.^[4]
