Rompicherla is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a gram panchayat and the mandal headquarters of Rompicherla mandal in Narasaraopet revenue division.[1][2]
History
As per Gazettee No. 939 of 26 January 2022, the old Guntur District, formed in 1904, was split into three districts – Guntur, Palnadu and Bapatla.[3]

Rompicherla covers an area of 28.11 sq km.[2]
Demographics
According to the 2011 census, Rompicherla village had a population of 10,131. It had a literacy rate of 53.27%.[2]
